Mission Statement

"To Provide Medical Billing and Coding Specialists a reliable source for Procedural and Diagnostic Coding. We offer Education and Training in International Classification of Diseases (9th Revision) Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), HCPCS National Level II Coding, and Reimbursement Trends."

The Medical Association of Billers (MAB) has been created to help Independent Billing Services and small provider offices gain the medical coding and billing education necessary to keep ahead of the changing healthcare regulations.

MAB provides information on: Medicare & Medicaid Changes, Coding & Reimbursement Trends, Medical Electronic Claim Submission, Healthcare  Insurance Regulations, Medical Accounts Receivable Strategies, Managed Care Trends, and Audit Protection.  We provide Compliance Information to providers offices turning potential legal issues into effective business tools, rather than business expenses.

is dedicated to helping our members
become successful Medical Billing Specialists

in both provider offices and Independent Billing Centers

With the advent of the Correct Coding Initiative and the Balanced Budget Act billers must now be trained Medical Billing Specialists.  Claims must be coded properly the first time to prevent cash flow problems for providers from claims being "rejected" or "pended" by carriers.  We can help you learn:
