Twice a year the Medical Association of Billers conducts a
Train-the-Trainer program in Las Vegas, NV. The first two days of the
three day training consist of a review class covering:

Adult Learning Styles

Medical Terminology
|
|
Insurance Carriers
|
|
Introduction to ICD Coding
|
|
Introduction to CPT Coding
|
|
Medicare
|
|
Completing a CMS 1500 form
|
|
Evaluating an EOB
|
The third day will be trainer presentations. Trainers will receive
topics from our Certified Instructors. Presentations are to last between
5-10 minutes and will be graded on: presentation technique, knowledge and
question answering skills.
In order to participate in the Train-the-Trainer program you must be a
current member of the Medical Association of Billers, a CMBS and have a signed
Confidentiality Agreement on file.
